One of our core activities is to organize and carry out training sessions. Subject of our training activities is concentrated on municipal companies management, self-government unit management and its financing.

Essential element of creating our training offer was the participation of KOBIKO in above mentioned Project for increasing local government access to the capital market (RTI, USAID).

We organized and led training sessions in the development of regulatory standards concerning access to services and fee-setting methodologies in the water and sewer service industry for future trainers, what was confirmed by appropriate certificates of the Housing and Urban Development Office and the Research Triangle Institute.

Our company participated in the Rural Development Programme, Component C - Infrastructure, co-financed by the loan from the World Bank. We provided TA and trainings in the field of municipal investments for the municipalities, Voivodship Program Implementing Units (VPIUs) and local offices of Agency for the Reconstruction and Modernization of Agriculture (ARMA).

Our consultations let to verify hundreds of municipal investment projects prepared by gminas and poviats of Mazovia and Lubelskie Voivodship. KOBIKO in cooperation with Foundation for Supporting of Local Democracy took also part in next component of the Rural Development Programme, Component B-3 Training for self-governments.

Training sessions are concentrated on public infrastructure and project management and are aimed at municipal administrators in rural areas. The most important aim of the programme is to prepare self-governments units for the accession to European Union. Besides above training-advisory programmes KOBIKO has also developed and carried out following training projects and sessions:

6. "Multi-year development and modernization plans of water and wastewater facilities", trainings for water and wastewater companies,

7. "Agreements with consumers of water and wastewater services", trainings for water and wastewater companies,

8. "Law and ordinances on collective water supply and sewage disposal services" - series of training sessions for water companies,

9. "Restructuring of municipal services" - individual trainings for municipal companies and administrators,

10. trainings for municipal treasurers, mayors and presidents in the field of analysing of self-governments budgets and financing municipal infrastructure (bank loans, municipal bonds),

11. trainings in practical using of Gmina Financial Analysis Model - GFAM in polish gminas.
